Dragon managed construction of fabricated items for Brisbane City Council’s CityCat and City Ferry terminal upgrade project as part of disaster recovery post-2011 floods.
As part of the recovery from the January 2011 floods, Brisbane City Council commissioned a significant upgrade on its CityCat and City Ferry Terminals, replacing temporary terminals built in the immediate wake of the disaster with permanent structures.
Dragon managed construction of all components fabricated offshore within the fabricators facility, specifically:
- Mechanical parts
- Pier superstructures
Brisbane Terminal will soon be equipped with improved flood resilient structures, with outstanding procurement value delivered to taxpayer-funded Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).
