Contracted by a JV between an integrated engineering firm and a global oil exploration firm, Dragon Industries Asia developed a complete preliminary proposal to analyse and interpret logistical viability of replacing of a flare drum on Shell’s Malampya Shallow Water Platform.
Its investigation incorporated key areas of client concern, including:
- Economic feasibility and success factors
- Logistics methodologies (sea transportation) and pricing
- Final installation cranage offshore methodologies and pricing
Dragon evaluated in detail preliminary pricing proposals of several specialised logistics partners across Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and Australia as well as a number of lift methodologies (for vertical and horizontal handling) developing an implementable and cost-effective solution.
