Strategic Investments for Enhanced Connectivity and Smarter Southeast Asian Ports
Returning for a fourth year, Port Planning & Development Indonesia 2014 will focus on updating attendees with critical knowledge on regulations, investment opportunities and port projects in Indonesia and across the South East Asian region. This year’s event is to be staged at Shangri-La, Jakarta over 1 – 4 December 2014.
Trade volumes throughout South East Asian ports, Indonesia’s in particular, have continued to experience enviable growth while also posing logistics, infrastructure and regulatory challenges to a variety of industry and government stakeholders. Existing rail, road and sea port networks require upgrade, expansion and modernisation; investment in new projects must be realised to improve logistical performance and add competitive advantage to services. Port Planning & Development 2014 provides stakeholders the necessary forum to discuss strategic investment opportunities and discover new technologies, and is shaping up to be a valuable addition to the end of year conference season in the region.
